Favorites Friday

Below are just a few of my favorite wedding things (right now):

Don't get me wrong, I am in love with florals, but sometimes an over-the-top flower filled wedding isn't in the budget. By focusing on foliage (with a few floral touches still included), you get a lush look for less.

Sometimes an all ivory cake can be a bit boring to look at. Don't get me wrong, my cake had absolutely no color to it so I'm not against it, but by adding in a layer or two of metallic, it allows the cake to make a statement of its own.

Although I am not a fan of the winter or cold - tis the season. If you are planning a winter wedding, there's something quite magical about a snow filled photograph.

Happy Friday Lovelies!

Welcome Lis Simon!

So a couple weeks ago I told you some pretty exciting things were going to be happening here at Something White Bridal Boutique. Mainly, we will be introducing new designers in bridal and accessories. It has taken every ounce of my willpower to not show off all of the exciting items that will be coming our way, but do not worry friends, the time has come to start our introductions. First up...

We are thrilled to announce starting in December we will be carrying bridal gowns from Lis Simon. Eeeekk!!! We can barely contain our excitement, and as soon as you see the stunning gowns she has created, you will understand why!

I know it's a tease to only show two gowns, but wait until we show you Spring 2015 Collection. Follow us on Pinterest and you will see the variety of gowns that will be offered at Something White soon!

Meet Audrey

Meet Audrey (and her mama Tracy). This woman will always have a special place in my heart as she was our very first bride! You can read about her bridal gown shopping experience as she guest blogs on Aisle Perfect. Needless to say, we are bursting with anticipation for this June destination wedding! It is taking all of my will power not to gush over all of the details, but you will just have to keep checking back to Aisle Perfect for more posts! Next on the agenda - their wedding destination, and wait until you hear their plans. Now if only I could fit into a suitcase...
