What made you decide to get married on September 2nd?
"We
love to travel, so getting married on Labor Day Weekend was a perfect excuse to
celebrate our anniversary by having a long weekend to travel every year!"
Tell
us a little bit about your love story!
"Will & I grew up together, living only
a mile a part through grade school! Our first 'date' was in middle
school at the county fair. We shared our first kiss on a Ferris Wheel & the rest is history!"
How did Will pop the question?
"Will proposed with a puppy three days before Christmas. We got
all dressed up for what I thought were family photos at his parent's house, when in
reality, he was popping the question. I thought I was getting a puppy as an
Early Christmas gift, then I saw the dog's tags which read, 'Will you
marry my dad?' & Will was behind me down on one knee! It was the most perfect Christmas gift & proposal I
could have dreamed of. We spent that night with our families sipping champagne & reliving the beautiful moment!"
How did the two of you meet?
"Will & I grew up together. Our
parents were friends long before we were even born."
What advice would you give to other brides in regards to dress shopping?
"Don't base the beauty of a dress on the price range. Not
all expensive dresses are beautiful, mine was below budget & it was perfect!
Also, make sure to enjoy the process of finding your perfect dress with the
people you want to share that moment with. It's a very special time for a
bride!"
Did you have a specific theme in mind while you were planning?
" Our theme was 'vintage romance'."
What was one of your favorite moments from your wedding day?
"The
first looks with my father & my husband were so perfect. It was very special to
see their reactions before anyone else attending the wedding."
Where did you draw inspiration & ideas from?
"We
researched a lot on Pinterest, The Knot & other websites & bridal magazines!"
Congratulations to the Twaddle's!
Wishing you the sweetest forever!
